Apply for a Grant

The Edward Hopkins Educational Foundation (EHEF) seeks to enrich the educational experiences of the students in the Hadley Public Schools.  EHEF awards grants, on a rolling basis, that encourage the development of creative and innovative teaching and learning initiatives for the Hadley Public Schools consistent with the district’s goals.  

Through this grant program, EHEF supports a variety of initiatives including and not limited to: 

  • the preparation and implementation of new instructional methods

  • the purchase of books, software, materials, resources, and equipment

  • field trips

  • guest speakers

  • student travel 

  • extracurricular initiatives that are intended to enhance student learning

  • projects that connect Hadley Public Schools with the community 

  • supplies directly related to the proposal 

Who May Apply: We invite grant applications from teachers and administrators in the Hadley Public Schools.  Projects may also be initiated by parents and or community members, if undertaken in collaboration with a teacher or administrator.

Application: please answer all questions on the application form, below. Be concise and specific.  You are encouraged to seek the input of your colleagues and your administrator(s) as we support and value collaboration. Feel free to use additional pages to fully explain your proposal. Grant proposal application must have your Principal’s signature. EHEF will submit your proposal to the Superintendent for informational purposes.  

Review Process: Grant proposals are evaluated by the Edward Hopkins Educational Foundation Board. 

Reports & Evaluation: Grant recipients will be asked to submit a final report and an expense record in a timely manner. If appropriate, Foundation Board members may be invited to your classroom to see the results of your grant.
